What should I expect?

At Willoughby Baptist, we want all of our visitors to feel welcome and loved from the minute they walk in the door. This page will answer some of the most common questions, so that you can come to our church for the first time prepared and ready to worship.

Where do I park?

There are spaces reserved for visitors at the front of the lot, near the basketball hoop. Senior parking is located next to the overhang. There is additional parking down the hill behind the building.

Where do I go in?

The side door, down the steps under the overhang, will bring you in to the office level of the church. From there you can go down the stairs to the fellowship hall and nursery or up the stairs to the sanctuary. The elevator stops at all floors, including a street level stop under the overhang.

Where is the nursery?

The Noah's Ark nursery, for children birth through Pre-K, is located on the bottom floor of Willoughby Baptist Church.

What should I do with my school age child?

School age children are invited to sit in the worship service with their parents until the end of praise and worship time, when grades Kindergarten through four are dismissed to Children's Church, which is held on the bottom floor.

What should I wear?

You may dress however you like when you attend Willoughby Baptist. Generally, our members dress up somewhat, but you may come as you are, just as long as you are respectful and ready to worship.

What type of music do you sing?

Our praise and worship time, led by our Worship Leader Sandy Watkins and our Praise Team, is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship choruses.

When does service end?

Service ends at approximately noon on Sunday morning and 8 PM on Sunday night and Wednesday night.
